Week 6 — On The Next Time

You can add “See you” before the title, but I don’t see this as the farewell statement. I only see this as the new spirit to gain a better future (that is in front of me, and so near..,).

Past vs. Now

When I first entered “Generasi GIGIH”, I still had a lot of things to learn, especially about the basics and major things of becoming a data analyst. who would have thought when I got an acceptance letter in the Intermediate Phase of “Generasi GIGIH”, to be honest, I was very excited back then. My days after that? I got many new facts and concepts on how usually approached by the engineers.

Now basically, I can understand the structure of analysis reporting in a brief way. I got a lot of experience with Google Ecosystem especially in BigQuery and Data Studio Platform, and I’m pretty sure that all of the integration on these Google’s platforms can boost data management in no time. For the interesting part, I can partly understand the importance of data role in GO-JEK with many specialized roles needed to maintain their gigantic (or more?) data and finally, to serve the customers, partners, and merchants precisely.

Energized (in every) Days

Finishing another task as soon as possible before the class started (just because I want to understand all of the materials, whether in Tech Class or English Class -Even IDP and XLFL session -) is my new habit after joining Generasi Gigih. Starting to manage my goal and executing the mini actions is kind of my new guilty pleasure. In IDP session, with Kak Eunika as the mentor, I feel like I can share and discuss my own goals and start to believe that if I do it like a baby step, one by one, I can feel that reaching my goal will be just a tip of my finger away, just I don’t really know when I will reach the end of the tip though.

My learning process on Generasi GIGIH is kind of a roller-coaster journey, with many things that I keep hold breath when it was a downside and release the breath out of my lungs after the high side.

Meet my fellows on Bangsa Class Data Analyst Path!

And of course, I can say that I increase my way of thinking in many aspects. In class, I was always tricked by the cases available but as time went by, I could catch up on the case-solving material and sharpen my intuition skill better than when I first came to Generasi GIGIH. And I can re-learning about the programming materials and shown my skills there too!. Also, from Cakap that taught by Miss Oktavia, I can slow my speak speed better and particularly can be understood by the teacher and my fellows, and I can use the grammar on my way of speaking and writing better as well. Based on this, I give my mark of 97%, with the rest of them is my hibernation mode and re-processing from what I learned.

Happy? Of Course!

because why? I am grateful for all of my chances from Generasi GIGIH, for all of the things that I just knew, and the soft-skill learning. I am really proud of being myself after I discovered ‘what are the potentials I can unleash deep inside me?’ and it’s because I meet many great people since the first meeting and accepted me warmly.

In the next post, I’ll share a bit about the activities that I attended.

Can’t wait to see you next week!
